Gift Card Terms & Conditions

1.1 These Gift Card terms and conditions are important and we encourage you to read them in their entirety before you place an order for, or use, a Gift Card.

1.2 These Gift Card terms and conditions apply only to electronic RV Online gift cards (“Gift Cards”) acquired from and issued by Everything Caravan & Camping Pty Ltd (ABN 85 664 582 932) trading as RVonline.com.au ("ECCPL”, "we”, “our” or ”us”) for use on purchases of other products and/or services from the RV Online business (“RV Online”). These terms and conditions do not apply to any other gift cards.

1.3 Please familiarise yourself with these terms and conditions before you place an order for, or use, a Gift Card. Our Returns Policy for change of mind does not apply to Gift Cards or Gift Card codes.

1.4 By ordering, purchasing, redeeming or attempting to redeem a Gift Card, you accept and agree to be bound by, and comply with, these Gift Card terms and conditions.

1.5 These Gift Card terms and conditions are part of the Terms of Service (“Terms of Service”) for Gift Card purchases and are part of the Agreement between you and ECCPL in relation to Gift Card purchases (see the Terms of Service provided on the Site).

1.6 RV Online offers the Gift Cards to you, the user, customer or potential customer as the case may be, (“you” or “your”) conditional upon your acceptance of these Gift Card terms and conditions.

2.1 General terms

(a)             Each Gift Card is issued electronically (by email to the address provided at the time of purchase) as a code. The email contains instructions on how to redeem your Gift Card at the RV Online checkout (usually you will be required to input the Gift Card code as part of the online checkout process to redeem the Gift Card).

(b)             A Gift Card code is redeemable only for the purchase of products and/or services from RV Online through the RV Online website (the “Site”), up to the dollar value balance on the Gift Card at that time.

(c)             Gift Cards and Gift Card codes are not cash or money and cannot be redeemed for cash or money.

(d)             No additional processing fees apply to our Gift Cards or their use.

(e)             You can check your Gift Card balance by using the link in the email provided to you with the Gift Card code.

(f)              You are responsible for your Gift Card and its use. We recommend that you treat each Gift Card code like cash. If you lose your Gift Card code or it is stolen, and the Gift Card code is used, we cannot refund or reissue the Gift Card code. You must notify us (by email to hello@rvonline.com.au or by contacting RV Online customer services) as soon as possible after you become aware of any unauthorised access to or loss of a Gift Card code. You are liable for all unauthorised access to or loss of a Gift Card code until we are notified of such unauthorised access or loss.

(g)             Purchases that exceed the available balance on a Gift Card must be paid for by another payment method accepted by RV Online (the purchaser must pay the difference between the purchase total and the amount redeemed using a Gift Card by another payment method accepted by RV Online).

(h)             In addition to these Gift Card terms and conditions, Gift Cards may be subject to other additional terms and conditions specified at the time of purchase.

2.2 Expiry of Gift Cards

If a Gift Card and Gift Card code is issued with an expiry date at the time of purchase, the Gift Card and Gift Card code must be redeemed before that expiry date.

For each Gift Card and Gift Card code issued after 27 June 2024, the Gift Card and Gift Card code expires 36 (thirty-six) months after the date of issue to the customer. Upon expiry, the Gift Card and Gift Card code will not be able to be used or redeemed (and any balance of or remaining on a Gift Card upon expiry will not be paid out in cash or money, or otherwise refunded or credited, and will be forfeited).

For each Gift Card and Gift Card code issued prior to 27 June 2024, unless an expiry date was provided at the time of purchase (in which case that expiry date will apply), the Gift Card and Gift Card code has no expiry date.

2.3 Partial redemption

Gift Cards and Gift Card codes may be partially redeemed. That is, a Gift Card and Gift Card code may be redeemed for an amount towards a purchase that is less than the then current balance of the Gift Card. Any remaining balance on the Gift Card will remain available for use subject to these terms and conditions. No balance of or remaining on a Gift Card will be paid out in cash or money.

2.4 Exclusions

Gift Cards and Gift Card codes cannot:

(a)             be used or redeemed for the payment of credit or statement accounts;

(b)             be used or redeemed for cash or a cash advance (cash or money will not be paid out to you under any circumstances, except in the case of a refund of a Gift Card purchase if applicable);

(c)             be used or redeemed for a prior purchase transaction;

(d)             be reloaded, topped up or extended; and

(e)             be used to purchase or redeemed for another Gift Card or any other gift card.

2.5 RVO Nation Vouchers

For the avoidance of doubt, Vouchers issued in or under the RVO Nation reward program are not ‘Gift Cards’ for the purpose of these Gift Card terms and conditions. The terms and conditions for those Vouchers are described in the RVO Nation reward program terms and conditions.

2.6 Consumer laws

Nothing in these Gift Card terms and conditions limits or excludes any guarantees, warranties or conditions implied or imposed by law, including the Australian Consumer Law (or any liability under them), which by law may not be limited or excluded.

(a)             You can review the most current version of these Gift Card terms and conditions at any time on the Site.

(b)             We may update these Gift Card terms and conditions from time to time at our discretion for purchases of Gift Cards made after the effective date of the change.

(c)             Any updates of these Gift Card terms and conditions can be accessed via the Site. You should check the Site regularly to ensure that you are aware of the current Gift Card terms and conditions.
